Sourdough New England Buns
Not just for hot dogs.
These soft, golden New England–style buns are made from my Sourdough Milk Bread—a tender, enriched sourdough made with French Label Rouge T65 flour, A2/ A2 milk, whole eggs and butter.
If you’ve never had milk bread, think incredibly soft and pillowy with a delicate, buttery crumb. The New England shape gives you flat sides that are perfect for brushing with butter and toasting, while the top-split design holds everything from a classic hot dog to much more generous fillings.
Fill them with lobster or shrimp salad, Philly cheesesteak, pulled chicken, sausage and peppers, breakfast eggs, or whatever else you can tuck inside.
Like my Hamburger Buns, these freeze beautifully, so you can keep a pack tucked away and pull out just what you need.
Made only one Monday each month. Pre-ordering is recommended if you want to stock your freezer.
